Feels stuck
You feel trapped inside your own tissue and can't move freely.
For the stuck, locked-up feeling you can't seem to shake.

Myofascial release is slow, sustained pressure on fascia, the connective tissue wrapped around your muscles, to restore movement.
Sometimes the muscle isn't the whole problem. When the tissue around it feels tight and restricted, you feel stuck.
Most people don't describe it in clinical terms. They say, "I just feel stuck," or "My muscles are just too tight," or "My whole body feels like it's cramping." That locked-up, braced feeling is what this work is for.
You feel trapped inside your own tissue and can't move freely.
Your body keeps bracing, so you can't move the way you want.
Everything feels tight and cramped, well beyond one sore spot.
Your surgeon cleared you, but the tissue still feels guarded.
If a doctor or physical therapist told you to look for myofascial release, you can book knowing it's part of what we do. If nobody did, you don't need to know the name. Tell us what feels stuck, and we choose the technique.
Myofascial release is never a separate line item. It's included whenever your session calls for it, and your price depends on time alone.
We ask where you feel tight and what you want to get back to.
A tight hip can show up as a sore back, so we trace it back.
We hold steady pressure and let the tissue change at its own pace.
Tell us if it's too much and we'll ease off right away.
Tissue that has been guarded for a long time doesn't respond to being forced. If a muscle is guarding a sore joint, we never push it to let go. We stay within what your body can handle that day, so your nervous system gets input it can use instead of a shock that sets you back.
Maybe you've had a therapist dig in until you were bruised, or you felt wiped out for days. That isn't how this should feel. You should leave moving better and able to go to work or play golf the next day.
"If I have the power to heal you, I also have the power to hurt you."Hart Fandridge, LMT

Deep tissue works slow, firm pressure into the muscle. Myofascial release works the tissue around it.
When an area is swollen, we use gentle lymphatic work instead of pressure.
Cupping lifts tissue instead of pressing it, and can suit the same tight spot.
In their own words
"Hart worked on my stiff and painful back and hips. She found all the painful spots and worked with expertise. I got to sleep two nights in a row and had more mobility."
"I have major ligament issues and have had multiple surgeries, I have been using Hart for years as it is one of the best massages I have had."
"Very thorough massage focused on fixing my issues. I have severe arthritis and Hart really helps keep moving."
Most sessions blend several techniques at one flat rate.
For long-held tension deep in the muscle. Slow, firm pressure, used only as deep as your body can take.
For tight areas that need lifting, not pressing. Suction gently draws the tissue upward.
For swelling after surgery or injury. Gentle work that helps move fluid out so the area can heal.
